Decide how the space will be seen
Think about what is stored near the door and how the interior looks when lit after dark. The amount and type of glazing should support the way you actually use the garage, not only the exterior daytime view.
Review the whole elevation
Ask to see the frame divisions and glazing arrangement across the full opening. A close-up sample does not show how large panels, vertical members and hardware will read from the driveway.
Confirm the selected configuration
Have the proposal identify the frame finish, glazing option, door dimensions and required performance documentation. Do not assume that a showroom example represents every available configuration or the approval needs of your project.
Your questions
Does frosted glass guarantee complete privacy?
Visibility depends on the selected glazing, lighting and distance. Review the actual option before deciding.
Are all glass doors suitable for the same opening?
No. Dimensions, construction, project requirements and supporting hardware need a product-specific assessment.
